>> there's a big rig accident at the toll plaza of the san mateo bridge. it is not on the bridge but at the plaza. there is a a set of tollbooth years of there are basically five cash lanes, to add the main toll plaza and three are off to the right hand side. those have been shut down in order to deal with the crash. it is backed up traffic all the way to the nimitz and in the southbound direction. >> we are moments away from those openings so it does not matter, the traffic will be bad. >> we know that when there's

plaza of the san mateo bridge, not on the stand just before it. the accident has finally been cleared and may have reopened the satellite tollbooth on the right-hand side. only one of those lanes is open currently. they may open up one or two more to try to clear out the back up. at least the accident is gone now. traffic is backed up nearly all the way to 880. there was an accident on 880 southbound that has been cleared but that is another reason why things were backed up trying to head south coming out of sand runs out, san leandro coming out of hayward. you could continue to use the debit card and bridge agger alternate. on the span, the accident occurred before the bridge is so it will probably clear faster than if the incident had been

apartment was still sprayed water on to the building. they talked to the owner of the masai's pollard and she told investigators as part she knows when she left at 10:00 last night she turned everything off. a few hours later someone drives by notices the building on fire and called the fire department. they were worried for the firefighters and the reason why is they saw the roof was in danger of collapsing. they pull the firefighters out into the latter and started pouring water down on to the building. as far as the cause of the fire, that is still under investigation. we got a chance to talk to one of the investigators and i asked because this is a massage parlor as well as a salon, where there in the chemicals inside that will cause this fire to burn faster and harder? they said probably not. they believe the roof collapsed because this fire had a good head start on them. they do not

know how long but the fact of the bridge collapse is a big indicator. unfortunately, it took someone to call them and so they could not get in any sooner. >> a house fire in alameda leaves a number of residents displaced. the fire broke out in a two-story victorian home on cedar street. three firefighters suffered minor injuries, they were treated on the scene. it's the crews from oakland and alameda de put out the blaze. >> if you have driven over the golden gate bridge, you'll notice they are tearing out the roadway there. they're tearing down the second part of the oil drive. northbound highway one will be closed between lake st. and the junction with highway 1 01. the closures will run from midnight to 4:00 a.m.
